The download time took forever. Now I can't delete the app or restart the download
The download and installation process is not performed by this application. It is a standard process developed by Apple, Inc. Due to the large size of the application the download time may vary between 20 to 45 minutes on your device and much less on the computer.
For the best result it is recommended to download this app through the iTunes on your computer and sync with your device later. If you download right from the AppStore on your device, please don't disturb it until the download and installation complete.
For installation you will need 2.1GB of free space on your device. After the installation the app will take 768MB. We know it takes time to install this application, but once installed it will worth every byte and minute spent. When we were testing this app during the development, we had to reinstall it on the device after every single change we made. We know it takes time, please, be patient.
The audio Bible app has 6 days and 4 hours of audio in it. That's why the size is so big and it takes 30-40 minutes to download it. Apple's download / installation process is not perfect and can take a lot of resources that's why it is recommended not to disturb the device during the installation, have a good internet connectivity.
Audio Bible has 1189 mp3 files, 1190 text files + binary + pictures, icons, html pages, maps, and more.
During the installation process your device:
- downloading the compressed files
- unpacking the compressed files
- verifying the size and comparing it to the encrypted code signature for every file
- deleting the compressed files
