Bible Reading

Bible Contents:

From the Main Menu, please, select "Books of the Bible", then select a book you want to read, then chapter. In the Bible contents you will see two buttons: "New Testament" and "Old Testament". Pressing these buttons scrolls the list accordingly.

Once chapter is selected, narration should start by default, unless it was paused by pressing the "Speaker" button (in the middle of the lower bar)

The buttons mean the following:

1. Menu 2. Prev. Chapter 3. Speak 4. Next Chapter 5. Night Mode

The Menu button will let you to go to preferences, bookmark the current chapter, compose notes

Please notice, if the text is not loud enough, please, boost the internal volume by pressing and holding the upper side button on your device

While the Bible is being read, you can tap anywhere on the text to get the top Bar appear:

On the top left is the button that gets you back to whatever menu you came from. In this case it’s called “Contents”. In the middle top you see the abbreviated book title and a chapter number. On the top right are the Text Size buttons.

Lower you can scroll through the audio

3 buttons on the lower row mean:

1. Sync Text and Audio 2. Sleep Timer 3. Repeat the same chapter

By pressing any of these buttons you’ll get a screen prompt telling you what feature is enabled or disabled.

If you are listening with the “Sync Text and Audio” enabled, which is by default, you may experience that the screen goes off after a while if you are not touching it. This is done to preserve the battery life. If you would like to have the screen on all the time, please, go to “Settings” and enable “Screen always on”

Please note, when you increase the text size, the “Sync Text and Audio” sometimes may not work properly an the narrated text can be outside of the visible area. You may disable “Sync Text and Audio” by taping the lower left button on the top bar. You still can have the “auto scroll”, just enable it in “Preferences”.

If the “Repeat Chapter“is enabled, the chapter will be read again and again even if you have the continuos reading turned off.

In case someone is calling you during the Bible Narration, if you ignore to pickup, the narration will continue, otherwise you will be moved back to the main menu, where to continue the reading you can press “Continue” button.

Extra Features

“Daily Reading” - is an excellent help in your personal Bible Study. This plan was developed over a hundred years ago by Robert Roberts.

If, by any reason, you are behind your schedule, let’s say for 2 months, please got to the date where you want to start, then press “Save Current“ schedule latency. Next time just press “Restore Current” to go back 2 months.

“Search in the Bible” will let you find any word or phrase in the Scriptures

When the search is completed and you have selected the chapter you would like to read, the reading will start from approximately the moment where the searched word should appear.

“Bookmarks” let you see all your bookmarked chapters. To delete only one, please swipe your finger on it. To delete multiple, please, press “Edit” button. To erase all, please, do it from “Preferences”.

“My Reading History” displays the last 200 chapters you have read. Again, to delete only one, please swipe your finger on it. To delete multiple, please, press “Edit” button. To erase all, please, do it from “Preferences”.

“My Notes” will let you type in your thoughts. You can send them to the email program anytime. To delete the notes, please go to “Preferences”

“Maps and Geography” displays most of he biblical maps on your screen.

“Bible Timeline” organizes the books of the Bible according to the year written. It also displays the name of the author, time covered and place written. To switch between Old and New Testaments, scroll between BC and AD

“Preferences” has audio settings, global themes and other visual settings, reset options to clear all the bookmarks, reading history or notes.

“Videos” is a bonus feature to our customers! You can watch 2 movies and video tutorials. Since this feature completely depends on the internet connection, please, make sure you are in a well covered cellular network area or using WiFi. You can also request the movie URL to watch them on your computer or buy a DVD.
