This is required because most mobile devices do not unpack zip files.

Each browser is different, however most downloads end up in a folder named “Downloads.

How To Transfer MP3 To My iPhone

  • After you download the PM3 zip file you extract the 1,189 MP3 files on your WINDOWS or MAC PC. You will find all 1,189 MP3 files inside the folders named “dkjv” or “ndkjv”.
  • Next, simply place (drag) this “dkjv” or “ndkjv” folder to your iTunes “Music” library.

To learn more you can visit one or more of the links shown below:

We have also used the commercial “PodTrans” app on the Macbook Pro and Windows 8 PC which will allow you to drag the folder to the device without iTunes.

Once transferred, the audio will appear under “Music”, “By Artist”, “Alexander Scourby” in order. The order is that each Book of the Bible is treated as an “Album” listed as “01 Genesis” through “66 Revelation”.

6. In “Songs” view all songs are in alpha-numeric order. This means, it is possible that Amos may appear in the list before Genesis. For this reason we precede each Book with it’s associated numeric value; e.g. 01 Genesis through 66 Revelation, so that the “Album” or “Artist” view will always show the Books of the Holy Bible in order.

The following screens display the varies “order” displays.

How to Install Audio Bible Mp3 Files on you SamSung Galaxy
1. Install the appropriate driver for your Galaxy S2, S3, etc. from SamSung

2. When you first plug in the USB cable to the Galaxy S2, you can indicated to Windows to “Open” the device as a default. In the case of the Galaxy S2, the device is the SGH-T989 (Yours may be different.), and the Windows Explorer will (or should) display “Internal Storage” as the ‘drive’.

3. Double click or open the “Internal Storage” device in Windows Explorer.

4. The folder “Music” should appear in the list of folders on the device.

5. Double click or open the Music folder.

6. If you have not already done so, extract the contents of the “ndkjv.zip” file you purchased from Scourby.com. The 1,189 mp3 files will be located in the folder “ndkjv”.

7. Drag the folder, for example, from the Desktop to the open “Music” folder.

8. If this is the first time you have done this, a popup dialog will appear Asking if you want to copy “01_Genesis_01.mp3” to your device.

9. Click the check box “Do this for all files”

19. Click the “Yes” link in the dialog.

The transfer process will take between 20 and 30 minutes.

After the transfer completes, you may disconnect the USB cable from the device.

Now, on the Galaxay, select “Music Player” from the “apps” icon at the bottom of the screen.

The order of the display will depend on which icon you select at the top of the screen.

“All” – All music in your device will be displayed in Alpha-Numeric order; that is, if you only have the Holy Bible loaded, then “Acts 1” will appear first in the list.

“Playlists” – Will only show any playlists you have created. There are NO playlists delivered with the Bible download.

“Albums” – (Depends on what you may have already loaded) The Holy Bible will appear in order from “01 Genesis” through “66 Revelation”
If you select “01 Genesis” or any Book, the chapters will be in order “Genesis 1”.

“Artists” – “Alexander Scourby”

“Folders” – “ndkjv”

NOTE: When you first select a Book, and chapter file, you may see a warning that the device cannot play this media type. However, on my Galaxy S2, the audio started playing and I was able to navigate to any of the chapter files.

Arranging MP3 Audio Bible Files In Playlist Order

1. The audio files have been tagged according to the international standard for mp3 tags; ID3V2. Attached is a “master.m3u” listing which was exported from mp3tagger 2.66. (See illustration below master.m3u).

2. The order of the audio file “presentation” is dependent upon how you select to view the audio files in iTunes, or any other mp3 media player.

3. In iTunes, for example, the default is to display, and play, audio files in alpha-numeric order, not in the order of the Holy Bible chapters. When you open these in iTunes, by default Amos or Acts will appear first in the list.

4. We have ordered the chapter files so that each “Book” of the Bible is a “Album” to iTunes, Media Player, Real Player, and the like. We have also “numbered” the Books of the Bible so that they will appear in order from “01 Genesis” through “66 Revelation”. When iTunes is used, and “Album” view is selected, then the “Albums” appear in order. We have also placed all of the “Albums” under the “Artist” of Alexander Scourby.

5. When the audio is synced to any device that can use iTunes for syncing, the files are transferred to the device. On the iPhone, iPod, and and Touch device, again, the default display is to present the files in alpha-numeric order. When you select “Music” on these devices, the default is “songs”. If you tap “more” and “album” or whatever, the files are ordered. So the sequence would be “Music” -> “Album” -> 01 Genesis through 66 Revelation albums are displayed.

6. You can create custom playlists using whatever software is available on your device or within iTunes or Windows Media Player.

7. The following demonstrates the process using Windows Media Player under Windows 8.

8. When you download the zip file “ndkjv.zip” and “Extract All” under Windows 8 (in this example). If you open the extracted folder of the 1,189 mp3 files, you will see that they are in order. See attachment step1.jpg.

9. If you open Windows Media Player and simply drag the folder to the Music Library you will also see that the audio files are in order. See attachment step2.jpg.

10. When you click the “Play” tab in Windows Media Player, assuming you have no play lists, you can simply drag as many audio files as you wish to the right pane to create any play list of your choosing. See attachment step3.jpg where I will have placed the first 10 chapters of Genesis in a play list.

11. Similar procedures are used with Real Player, VLC, and any other software which can read mp3 audio file tags.

12. Beyond this, if you will tell me what make/model mp3 player you are using and I will be happy to look into their suggested process.

13. If you desire more detailed instructions please provide me a bit more about what operating system you are using; windows, Linux, or Mac Book Pro. as well as what mp3 player you are using.

14. I would also Google any questions you have about this since you can find out most of everything you want to know about this online.
